Warehouse Specialist

Clearance Requirement: Active Secret Clearance is required to start

Location: Little Creek, VA

SUMMARY: WR has an opportunity for a Warehouse Specialist to receive, store, move, and distribute materials.

Position responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

Fill requisitions, work orders, and/or requests for materials and distributes items to designated personnel.

With assistance, loads, unloads, and checks in materials.

Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas.

Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

Open crates, and other containers and marks materials with identifying information using appropriate method.

Electronically record amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

Assist with counting of physical inventory.

Prepare parcels for timely mailing.

May operate a truck, forklift, and other equipment to move materials.

Complies with all warehouse safety rules and guidelines.

Candidates must possess the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

High school diploma or GED equivalent.

Two (2) years of warehouse experience, to include:

o Perform inventory, staging, packing, storage and shipping of electronic equipment and related materials
o Operate motor vehicles and material handling equipment
o Utilize a computer-based inventory and bar code system for entry, identification and tracking of materials

Able to obtain Common Access Card (CAC).

Able to operate fork lift (training provided).

Computer proficiency with MS Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
