We are currently looking for a full time Warehouse General Manager at our Bessemer, AL location.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping/receiving processes
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize warehouse efficiency and productivity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate order processing and delivery
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement process enhancements
- Ensure compliance with all safety, security, and regulatory requirements
- Lead and supervise a team of warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, transportation management, and materials management principles
- Experience supervising a team of warehouse staff.
-Pay rate is 65,000 a year
*This is a 24 hour operation.
*Must be able to work weekends.
