Warehouse Associate I

Job Title: Warehouse Associate I
Location-Denver CO 80216
Pay Rate: $18- $20/hour
Contract Duration: 6 months
Job Summary:
We are looking for a dependable and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing receiving and putaway duties, ensuring that products are handled accurately and efficiently. You will support the warehouse by picking and stocking inventory, using an RF scanner, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and a commitment to ensuring customer orders are completed with precision.
Key Responsibilities:

Receiving & Putaway:
Receive and check incoming freight, verifying quantity, quality, and condition of products.
Accurately put away inventory in designated locations within the warehouse.
Order Picking:
Use a Radio Frequency (RF) scanner or pick ticket to pick items quickly and accurately.
Ensure picked items meet customer specifications (correct size, quantity, and unit of measure).
Quality Control & Packing:
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet required standards.
Pack customer orders efficiently while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
Inventory Management:
Stock and rotate inventory as needed, ensuring that products are organized and easily accessible.
Ensure products are replenished and inventory levels are maintained.
Safety & Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and warehouse policies, maintaining a clean and orderly work area.
Work safely in a production-driven environment, ensuring no injuries occur.
Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
General Responsibilities:
Meet daily and weekly production goals, ensuring all orders are completed within deadlines.
Perform other warehouse duties as assigned by management.
May be required to work overtime as needed to meet operational needs.

Required Qualifications:

Education:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year of warehouse or distribution experience preferred.
Previous experience with RF scanners or picking tickets is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 70 lbs occasionally (assisted).
Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the warehouse for extended periods.
Capable of performing repetitive motions such as bending, stooping, reaching, and grasping.
Ability to work in a noisy warehouse environment.
Skills:
Strong attention to detail with the ability to check and verify orders for accuracy.
Basic computer knowledge is a plus.
Must be able to read and understand English; good number recognition skills and hand-eye coordination are required.
Ability to maintain a sense of urgency and meet production deadlines.
