Teach private or group voice lessons to students of various ages and skill levels.
Provide vocal coaching and technique development in areas such as breath control, pitch accuracy, range extension, tone quality, and diction.
Help students prepare for performances, competitions, or auditions.
Develop lesson plans tailored to each student's individual needs and goals.
Foster an encouraging, supportive environment that builds student confidence and vocal skills.
Work with students on repertoire selection, including musical theater, pop, jazz, and other genres as needed.
Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and administrators to monitor student progress.
Teach vocal health and techniques to prevent vocal strain or damage.
Qualifications:
A degree in Music, Vocal Performance, Music Education, or a related field is preferred but not necessary
Proven experience teaching voice (at least 2-3 years of teaching experience preferred but not necessary).
Strong vocal technique and performance experience.
Comfort with a variety of musical genres, from pop and musical theater, to rock, jazz, and contemporary styles.
Knowledge of vocal anatomy and health, including how to teach students proper breath support and vocal care.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and ages.
