Video Producer

SUMMARY
KFSFL - Sioux Falls Live, under the Forum Communications Company umbrella, is seeking a skilled Video Producer for our South Dakota broadcast operations

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for all aspects of video production, from shooting to editing, in and around Sioux Falls, SD, with occasional regional travel possible.
Edit and distribute video clips and packages for our South Dakota digital platforms and broadcast partners, throughout the Forum Communications Company regional news network.
Produce original, episodic video programs, primarily in the area of sports, including South Dakota State University.
Assist with news and general interest video content, including breaking news, as needed.
Manage live video streams from major news or sporting events in the area.
Share and promote South Dakota digital and video content through various social media channels in an effort to drive audience and engagement.
Assist in managing digital and video content presentation within the company's content management platform and public-facing apps and websites.
Contribute to a variety of South Dakota multimedia projects as needed, working closely with our sports and news teams in Sioux Falls, Rapid City, and Mitchell, SD.

QUALIFICATIONS

Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Premier Pro, After Effects, Audition and Photoshop or Lightroom strongly preferred.
Previous experience working in a newsroom or similar fast-paced environment is helpful.
Interest in sports is a plus.
Strong command of and interest in digital and social media platforms.
Basic understanding of lighting and sound set up for video shoots.
Strong communication skills and ability to work well with others.
Weekend work required during busy sports seasons.
