Vice President Electronic Health Record (EHR) Transformation

The VP EHR is responsible for the successful implementation and maintenance of our EHR and revenue cycle system initiative using Epic software, processes, and tools. This individual will: provide strong leadership, ensure the system is meeting the goals of the organization, possess the ability to establish relationships with key partners across the organization, and is accountable to and reports through the appropriate Governance structure.

Principal duties and responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic plan for the EHR and revenue cycle system that aligns with the organization's overall IT strategy and healthcare delivery goals.
Evaluate and recommend new Epic modules and functionalities to improve clinical workflows and patient care.
Cultivate a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the various technology teams.
Leads and assures adherence to the Guiding Principles of the EHR implementation.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration of the EHR with other clinical and administrative systems.
EHR system configurations.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels about system changes, updates, and impacts.
Maintain a deep understanding of EHR's capabilities and limitations.
Troubleshoot complex issues and provide technical guidance to the Epic team.
Education and experience requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field. Master’s Degree in a related field preferred
10-12 years of leadership experience required.
8 years progressive responsibility in EHR system implementation, preferably Epic.
