LEEAF Program
Work Schedule: This is a part-time position: 10-20 hours per week; non-exempt position. This position is not eligible for benefits. This is a grant-funded position, with an expiration date and is subject to renewal upon availability of funding.
Essential Functions:
Training Facilitators will support program management, curriculum execution, 1:1 feedback support, and discussions in collaboration with the LEEAF Team. The primary objective is to successfully execute a plan that meets all of the program outcomes, including helping entrepreneurs and students become economic justice leaders to rebuild and strengthen their communities. The position will be supported by all positions in the grant, but supervised mainly by the LEEAF Technical Assistance Director.
Responsibilities:
Though the work of the Training Facilitator may include additional projects assigned by supervisors, the main work centers on:
The incumbent must demonstrate an interest or ability in working in a multicultural/multiethnic environment. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily before any candidate can be offered a position with the UAS. Failure to satisfactorily complete the background check may affect the application status of applicants or the continued employment of current UAS employees who apply for the position.

- Facilitate and implement training module(s) for Entrepreneurs and Students in different topics with a tailored focus on economic justice.
- Facilitate discussions and feedback based on training topics and deliverables outlined in modules.
- Provide feedback/support to leaders and fellows both written and verbally.
- Develop curriculum and lead training on areas/topics which may include: business models, financial planning, strategic development, social impact, community building, mental health, marketing, procurement, human resources, and team development.
- Collaborate with the LEEAF Team to discuss design ideas and conduct brainstorming sessions or revisions to training modules.
- Collaborate with the LEEAF team to create measurable outcomes for cohort participants.
- Participate in pre and post surveys and feedback on the impacts and outcomes of the training modules.
- Relevant experience with topic-specific assistance and training.
- Experience working with diverse and minority communities as well as BIPOC Entrepreneurs.
- Practical experience and instructional experience facilitating culturally competent curriculum.
- Instructional techniques used to engage and interact with the participants in a virtual setting (e.g., using chats, videos, other tools, etc.).
