Job Summary:
The Operations Training and Support Specialist will develop and implement training and procedures for operating personnel.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Administers and tracks completion of training on the qual card and Learning Management System
- Facilitates or delivers additional training for ARCC Operations personnel as necessary
Training Development and Coordination
- Develop and manage training content within the Learning Management System
- Perform audits and evaluations of training effectiveness and participates in initiatives to improve the training program
Procedure Development and Management
- Assist with development of new SOPs and job aids and updates or revisions to existing SOPs and job aids
Required Skills/Abilities:
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical staff.
- Understanding of relevant computer software systems and electrical diagrams, to include DAS platforms, Relay functional diagrams and SLD’s.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
- Self-starter able to work independently without continuous oversight.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Sustainability, or related field, or an additional 2+ years of industry related experience in lieu of degree.
- At least 1 year of related experience required in addition to degree (3+ years without degree).
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to occasionally travel to solar facilities and provide training in an outdoor environment for periods of hours at a time.
Pay: From $70,000.00 per year
