Job Summary: The Operations Training and Support Specialist will develop and implement training and procedures for operating personnel. Duties/Responsibilities:
Training
- Provide in-person training to ARCC Operating Personnel as part of initial operations training program and ongoing development and progression through the qual card - Administers and tracks completion of training on the qual card and Learning Management System - Facilitates or delivers additional training for ARCC Operations personnel as necessary Training Development and Coordination - Develop and manage training content within the Learning Management System - Perform audits and evaluations of training effectiveness and participates in initiatives to improve the training program Procedure Development and Management - Assist with development of new SOPs and job aids and updates or revisions to existing SOPs and job aids Required Skills/Abilities:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain technical issues to technical and nontechnical staff.
Understanding of relevant computer software systems and electrical diagrams, to include DAS platforms, Relay functional diagrams and SLD’s.
Excellent time management skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
Self-starter able to work independently without continuous oversight.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Technology, Sustainability, or related field, or an additional 2+ years of industry related experience in lieu of degree.
At least 1 year of related experience required in addition to degree (3+ years without degree).
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Ability to occasionally travel to solar facilities and provide training in an outdoor environment for periods of hours at a time.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $70,000.00 per year Benefits:
