The Little Children Development Center is a licensed Christian preschool and daycare, currently hiring for a Toddler teacher/Teacher Assistant. The candidate would collaborate with the current Toddler teacher in our 1-2 year old class.
Our goal at LCDC is to provide a safe and fun learning environment to our children. A love of children is necessary to be a successful part of our team! As a Christian preschool and daycare, basic Christian elements will be taught an a Christian curriculum followed.
This position is Mondays, Thursdays, & Fridays 11am-5pm and Tuesdays & Wednesdays 8:30am-5pm.
Some of the responsibilities include:
Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 per week

Some of the responsibilities include:
- Create and maintain an environment that is clean and safe for all children
- Create lesson plans, organize learning activities, and conduct curriculum development to help toddlers grow emotionally and intellectually.
- Responsible for childcare, diaper changes, feeding, child safety, and classroom management functions to maintain safe learning environments.
- Respond positively to the children's emotional needs
- Establishing a professional level of rapport with each family and use the Brightwheel app to update families throughout the day
- High school diploma required
- Experience working in a childcare facility preferred
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Ability to act as mediator between children
- Cool-tempered, patient, friendly and reliable
- Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
- Certification in child CPR
- FBI, PA Criminal History, National Sex Offender, and Child Abuse History clearances. Cost of clearances and certifications will be reimbursed after 30 days and 2 hours of PTO accured monthly
Pay: $11.50 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 34 per week
