Tile Setter or Helper
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter/ Helper to join our team. The Tile Setter/helper will be responsible for installing tiles on floors, walls, and other surfaces in various settings, including residential and commercial, the ideal candidate will have experience in tile installation, be detail-oriented, and have excellent problem-solving skills. Salary: The salary for a Tile Setter/helper varies depending on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Responsibilities:
- Measure and cut tiles to fit around obstacles and into odd spaces
- Prepare surfaces for tile installation by cleaning, leveling, and smoothing
- Apply adhesive to surfaces and lay tiles in a pattern
- Align tiles and straighten them with straightedges, levels, and squares
- Grout tiles and clean surfaces to remove excess grout and adhesive
- Inspect and repair tiles as needed
- Proven experience as a Tile Setter/helper
- Knowledge of different types of tiles and their properties
- Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Strength to lift and move heavy tiles and equipment
- Must have a reliable vehicle to travel to each job site.
