Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation and cooking in the kitchen
- Create and develop new menu items and recipes
- Ensure that food is prepared and presented in accordance with quality standards
- Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
- Train and supervise kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and assistants
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and culinary trends
- Leadership skills to effectively manage a team in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly
- Knowledge of food handling and sanitation procedures
- Bartending experience is a plus
- Degree or certification in culinary arts or food service management is preferred
