NDDOT Starting Salary: $4,370 / month
Summary of Work
Purchase and Distribution of Parts and Supplies
Purchase and maintain supplies, tools, and equipment for district.
Purchase parts for maintenance and repair of various vehicles and equipment.
Prepare Purchase Orders and Submit for Payment
Use People Soft to issue and receive purchase orders.
Use Purchase Card (PCard) for purchases and prepare monthly PCard statement.
Data Entry and Answering Incoming Calls
Input and update equipment repair orders.
Run monthly inventory tracking.
Answer phone calls for shop personnel.
Inventory Control

Maintain adequate inventory of petroleum products, parts and supplies to service district and sections.

Issue and document parts and supplies to mechanics and operators.
Keep accurate records for inventory control and disposals.
Equipment Repair Orders (ERO)

Originate EROs for when equipment is brough in for repairs.
Assist employees with origination and completion of EROs.
Miscellaneous Duties
Assist users with operation of Cardtrol system.
Update files as equipment and vehicles are sold.
Organizing and cleaning of parts room.
Compile cutting edge and mower blade orders for the year for the district sections.
Minimum Qualifications
Requires a high school diploma or GED and four years of storeroom, procurement/purchasing or warehouse related work experience.
Requires possession of a valid Class D operator’s license.
Must have physical mobility compatibility with warehouse setting.
Ability to lift and carry several items up to 50 pounds.
Employment of the selected candidate will be contingent on satisfactorily completing the interview process, reference check, medical screening, and a criminal history record check.
