Job Description:
Mc Kee Foods is seeking a dedicated Retail Associate to join our team. As a Retail Associate, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service while performing a variety of tasks, including operating the cash register, stocking shelves, maintaining store cleanliness, and assisting customers. You will uphold Mc Kee Foods' values, ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate cash register and electronic scanner to process customer transactions, including issuing receipts, making change, and cashing checks
- Take inventory, replenish stock, and set up merchandise displays
- Ensure store cleanliness, including shelves, aisles, windows, and restrooms
- Assist customers by transporting packages to vehicles, when needed
- Sort and place products on shelves or racks, and repack items as necessary
- Adhere to company policies, maintain a clean work area, and practice personal safety
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to complete tasks
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED with at least three months of related experience or training
- Strong commitment to Mc Kee Foods' values, ethics, goals, and objectives
- Good overall work and safety record
- Ability to demonstrate excellent attendance and workplace hygiene
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous retail experience
- Knowledge of Little Debbie products
- Previous experience handling finished products and ingredients
