Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Snowplow Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring safe and efficient snow removal from various properties, This role requires a strong understanding of snow plowing techniques of commercial parking lots. In addition, occasionally clearing the snow from commercial sidewalks and applying salt.
This is a good opportunity for retirees who want to keep busy and make a little extra money.
Duties
Operate snowplow equipment to clear snow from roads, parking lots, and walkways.
Ability to plow fast food drive through areas.
Ability to back up and navigate with a salt spreader on the vehicle.
Ability to drive a dually truck.
You must be able to lift up to 80 pounds and endure cold temperatures.
The hours and days will vary. There will be occasions when you will be required to come in from 2am - 3am. Or during the day after a snowstorm. The hours are flexible.
You must have a clean valid driver’s license and your own transportation.
NO DUI (Driving under the influence of alcohol)
NO DUD (Driving under the influence of drugs)
Be reliable and dependable.
Show up to work when you are called in.

Required experience: 5+ years plowing.
Required license or certification: A valid clean Michigan driver’s license is required. Chauffeur license.
