Shipping & Receiving / Parts Puller

Job Summary:
Ed Rinke Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking a motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Shipping & Receiving / Parts Puller. This is a full-time, hourly position in the Auto industry located in Center Line, Michigan. As a Shipping & Receiving / Parts Puller, you will be responsible for managing inventory and fulfilling customer orders in a timely and accurate manner.

Compensation & Benefits:
This position offers a competitive hourly pay rate of $15 per hour, paid on a weekly basis. In addition, full-time employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

Receive and inspect incoming shipments of automotive parts, ensuring accuracy and quality control
Process paperwork and enter data into inventory management system
Pull and pack orders for delivery or pickup, according to customer specifications
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely delivery of parts to service technicians and customers
Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stock shortages
Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Communicate with vendors and handle any returns or exchanges as needed
Assist Service Advisors with parts inquiries and recommendations

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous experience in a similar role preferred, ideally in the automotive industry
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory management systems
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
