Job Title: Shipping Clerk
FLSA Status (Exempt or Non Exempt) Non Exempt Division & Department: GBS Prin Tech - Malvern, Ohio
Reports To: Fulfillment/Product Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
To meet all customer requirements and ship on time according to the scheduled ship dates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Reports To: Fulfillment/Product Manager
POSITION SUMMARY
To meet all customer requirements and ship on time according to the scheduled ship dates.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Load and unload trucks
- Operate lift truck in a safe manner
- Package finished product per customer specifications such as shrink wrap, box type, quantity and etc.
- Create appropriate packing slips and bill of ladings for shipments
- Wrap skids
- Barcode and label boxes according to customer and shipping specifications
- Package and ship finished product per customer requirements using UPS, Fed Ex, Airborne Express and other common couriers
- Order packaging and shipping supplies
- Work with overrun inventory
- Support the business system and the quality mission statement
- Function as a backup for Warehouse Distribution tasks
- While packaging, inspect product for core labels per customer specifications
- Basic receiving functions as a backup
- Other duties and projects as assigned
- Label boxes
QUALIFICATIONS (Knowledge, Skills, and Ability Requirements)
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Ability to lift 75 pounds
- Strong math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Knowledge and experience with different shipping methods and requirements
- 1 - 2 years previous shipping experience
- Strong problem solving techniques
