Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Field Service Dispatcher to join our team. The Field Service Dispatcher will be responsible for efficiently coordinating and dispatching field technicians to service calls, ensuring that customer needs are met promptly and effectively. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to multitask, and experience in a service-based industry.
Key Responsibilities:

Schedule and dispatch field technicians to service calls, installations, and maintenance requests based on priority, location, and technician availability.
Communicate with customers to confirm service appointments, provide updates on technician arrival times, and address any service-related inquiries.
Monitor the status of service calls and adjust schedules as needed to accommodate changes or emergencies.
Maintain accurate records of service calls, technician assignments, and customer interactions in the company's service management software.
Coordinate with the parts department to ensure that technicians have the necessary materials and equipment for each job.
Assist in the resolution of any service-related issues or conflicts between customers and technicians.
Provide support to the service team by preparing and distributing daily schedules, job orders, and any special instructions.
Collaborate with the sales and operations teams to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
Ensure compliance with all company policies, safety regulations, and industry standards.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in dispatching, scheduling, or a similar role, preferably in a service-based industry.
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused approach.
Proficiency in using service management software, scheduling tools, and other related technology.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities.
Knowledge of the garage door industry or a similar field is preferred but not required.
A problem-solver with strong attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
