Service Assistant (Powersports)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our service department by assisting with various tasks related to vehicle maintenance and repair. This position requires a proactive individual who is eager to learn and contribute to the overall efficiency of our operations.
Responsibilities

Set Up Units coming from Manufacturer as needed
Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various assembly and repair jobs.
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Work in receiving bay as Semi show with new inventory
Conduct thorough quality checks on all vehicles to identify and address any defects or issues
Document and report any quality concerns or non-conformities to the Service Manager.
Assist Set Up techs to Install sold accessories on units
Cleaning the inside dealership along with parking lot, including picking up trash and helping to remove snow or ice.
Power wash or detail used and new units as directed and needed.
Providing customer service to prospective buyers by bringing vehicles to them
Running errands for various departments, including sales, parts and service department
Other Duties as needed.
Reports to Service Manager

Experience

Previous experience in a dealership or service environment is preferred but not required.
Forklift Experience Strongly needed.
Basic knowledge of power tools, hand tools, and welding techniques is advantageous.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
A willingness to learn new skills related to service technician duties.

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
