Overview
The Program Director plays a pivotal role in shaping and overseeing educational programs within our institution. This leadership position is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating academic initiatives that enhance student learning and engagement. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in education administration and a passion for fostering an enriching environment for students.
Duties
Develop and manage academic programs that align with the institution's mission and goals.
Collaborate with faculty and staff to design curriculum and instructional strategies that promote student success.
Evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis, feedback, and assessment tools.
Provide leadership in the recruitment, training, and evaluation of program staff.
Foster relationships with students, faculty, and external stakeholders to enhance program visibility and support.
Organize workshops, seminars, and events to promote educational opportunities and resources for students.
Stay informed about trends in higher education teaching and incorporate best practices into program development.
Qualifications
A degree from a recognized university; advanced degrees in education or related fields are preferred.
Proven experience in education administration or program management within a higher education setting.
Strong ability to educate and mentor students effectively.
Experience working directly with students to support their academic journey.
Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
Ability to analyze data to inform decision-making processes.
