Duties and Responsibilities: As an Ocean/Air Freight Account Executive, you will be responsible for prospecting, engaging and closing new accounts, along with building and maintaining relationships with a customer base.
Developing relationships with customers and generating new business
Forming a customer base by cold calling, issuing quotes, preparing bids and making formal presentations to prospective customers
Soliciting Topocean Group's services which include Ocean Import, Air Import, Ocean Export, Air Export, Distribution & Warehousing, LTL Transportation and Cargo Insurance and Customs Brokerage
Responsible for meeting the monthly goals given by Sales Upper Management
Maintaining consistent communication with our Operations/Customer Service Departments and overseas offices
Qualifications:
3-5 years in selling Ocean/Air Freight
Multi lingual is a plus
Strong customer service and communication skills. Sales experience preferred
High proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
The ability to learn quickly and work efficiently as productivity goals must be met
Good organizational skills as this position requires working with multiple departments and following up with clients and prospects
Proficient in CRM is a plus
Education & Experience:
Bachelor's degree preferred.
Customer service or sales experience preferred
