Sales Associate

Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a passion for retail sales. As a Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in providing an exceptional shopping experience for our customers, assisting them with their needs, and ensuring the store is well-stocked and organized.
Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and provide assistance with product selection and inquiries.
Maintain a high level of customer service by addressing customer concerns and resolving issues promptly.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process transactions accurately.
Assist in stocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and ensuring the store is visually appealing.
Utilize basic math skills to handle cash transactions and manage inventory levels.
Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and maintain store standards.
Demonstrate knowledge of retail math to assist in inventory management and stock replenishment.
Supervise junior staff as needed, providing guidance on best practices in customer service and sales techniques.

Qualifications

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Strong phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries over the phone.
Basic math skills for managing transactions and inventory counts.
Familiarity with grocery store operations is a plus.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
Excellent communication skills with a focus on providing outstanding customer service.
Experience with supervising staff or training new employees is advantageous but not required.
