Sales and Loan Associate

In a friendly professional environment, the SLA provides outstanding customer service while conducting merchandise buying, selling and pawn activities for customers. Number one priority of an SLA is to immediate recognition and assistance to our customers. The SLA works with supervision; follows business standards for accurately qualifying loans and appraising customer goods, pawn loans and purchase approvals; adheres to industry regulations and Company policy in order to comply and to prevent losses or damage to Company and customer assets.

· Assisting pawn and sales customers with their needs.
· Know Store Monthly Budget Goals.
· Keep knowledge of Gold Prices & General Merchandise Markets.
· Building a team-oriented environment through assisting other employees in all store activity.
· Perform Jewelry Count as indicated by Management.
· Assisting the management team in determining the value of items to loan appropriate money for the collateral.
· Follow daily Sales/Loan Standard Procedures.
· Keep outside counters neat and free of merchandise.
· Describe carefully and precisely items entered in the computer system.
· Move merchandise to display outside the store and move them back inside by the end of the day.
· Walk Sales Floor and know what is available for sales.
· Watch their designated store areas to replenish items as needed.
· Keep Store Areas Starburst with Item information & descriptions.
· Responsible for maintaining a presentable store at all times.
· Additional responsibilities as requested or required.
QUALIFICATIONS:
· Excellent Customer Service Skills
· Stable Work History
· High School Diploma/GED (preferred)
· Good math skills
· Computer Literate
· Previous Retail or Pawn Experience a Plus
· Able to Work a Flexible Schedule, including Weekends
· Bilingual a Plus
· Eagerness to learn
· Dependable
· Must pass Criminal Background check.
· Must be able to work standing for a minimum of 8 hours.
· Must be able to bend, stoop and lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.

Pay: From $12.00 per hour
