Schedule: 10:00pm - 6:30am

Education/Prerequisite Requirements:

High School Diploma required; Associates degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
Basic First Aid.

Equipment/Training Knowledge:

Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., OSHA) is highly preferred.
Proven experience working in similar role, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Strong knowledge of safety regulations and protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft office platforms.
Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Work Specifications – Responsibilities:

Identify and communicate safety and health goals and objectives to all levels of the organization.
Provide support in the training and development of personnel on safety procedure and protocols.
Assist supervisors in the investigation of accidents and ensure proper documentation.
Provide recommendations to management regarding how to address any hazardous or potentially hazardous work environments.
Assist in conducting fire drills at least annually and ensure emergency preparedness.
Ensure that necessary safety equipment and devices for each job are available, used, and properly maintained.
Assist in maintaining security and access control throughout the facility.
Assist in Emergency Response Management and coordinate responses to emergencies effectively.
Respond to job-related medical emergencies and provide onsite treatment to sick or injured workers.
Recommend additional or specialized medical treatment when necessary and notify proper management.
Promote and maintain the health and wellness of workers through education and proactive measures.
Maintain current knowledge or industrial safety and medical best practices.
Perform other related duties assigned by management.
