About the Role:
The RN Weekend Supervisor plays a critical role in overseeing the nursing staff and ensuring high-quality patient care within the facility. This position requires a dedicated and experienced nurse who can lead by example, provides guidance, and support to nursing staff while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The role includes monitoring patient progress, offering support to residents and families, and ensuring a safe, supportive, and home-like environment.

About the Role:

This position requires a dedicated and experienced nurse who can lead by example, provides guidance, and support to nursing staff while maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. The role includes monitoring patient progress, offering support to residents and families, and ensuring a safe, supportive, and home-like environment.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited RN program with a current state license
- Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility (preferred)
- 1 year of experience in a secure/memory care unit
- Proficient in care planning processes and electronic medical records
- Strong attention to detail, documentation, and resident assessment skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
As a Supervisor, you'll play a pivotal role in patient care under the supervision of the DON, including but not limited to:
- Facilitate patient care as directed by the attending physician, overseeing nursing care under the supervision of the DON
- Assist in pre-screening, room assignments, and resident discharges
- Supervise nursing activities and promote improvements in care quality
- Maintain a comfortable, hazard-free environment and ensure adherence to safety protocols
- Conduct interviews, evaluations, and selection of new personnel
- Notify relevant parties of any new or unusual findings
- Uphold confidentiality while fostering positive interactions with residents, team members, and visitors
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
- Prolonged periods of standing and walking
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 75 pounds
