Are you a compassionate and skilled nurse ready to make a significant impact in critical care? We are seeking a dedicated Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team and provide exceptional care to our patients in their most critical moments.
About the Role:
As an ICU RN, you will:
- Deliver both direct and indirect nursing care to critically ill patients with precision and empathy.
- Utilize your in-depth knowledge of departmental and hospital policies to ensure the highest standard of emergency care.
- Employ your interpretive skills and engage in frequent interactive and consultative associations with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitates, implements, and evaluates the Patient Plan of Care and outcomes in collaboration with the health care team.
- Technical Skills.
- Critical Thinking.

- Equipment Operation. Initiative.
- Evaluates test results reported immediately.
- Assess patient safety facts and identifies those patients requiring specific safety devices. Documents patient assessments accurately and correctly within the specified time at admission, transfer, and discharge.
- Collects adequate and correct blood/urine specimens from patients as ordered by physicians, using proper technique and equipment.
- Correctly labels specimens and processes. Ensures appropriate delivery of specimens to the lab via courier or specimen pick up from outside agencies.
- Educational needs of patient. Documents assessment on multidisciplinary form and modifies as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum one year Emergency Department or Critical Care experience preferred.Must complete Point of Care Testing training as part of Department Orientation.
