Scripps Health Administrative Services supports our five hospitals and 19 outpatient facilities, which treat half a million patients annually through 2,600 affiliated physicians.
This is a Full Time Benefitted Pre Op/PACU position working at Scripps Clinic in Oceanside. The varied 10 hour Day shift starts between 5:45 am - 8:30am and equals 80 hours per pay period. No weekends or call. This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives of 4K, and Relocation assistance.

Scripps Medical Center Jefferson is Scripps’ largest North County outpatient health center in the city of Oceanside. The new 85,915-square-foot, three-story site is designed as a one-stop-shop for patients, with a wide range of outpatient services including primary care , cardiology , neurology , obstetrics/gynecology , oncology , ophthalmology , orthopedics , and pediatrics , along with comprehensive imaging, outpatient surgery, urgent care, and same-day walk-in care through Scripps Health Express .

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)

• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted in your offer letter.

PACU at 78/Jefferson is a new service line supporting 4 ORs and 2 GIs Rooms. General Surgery, GI, Ortho, GYN, ENT, Sports Medicine, and total joints down the line.

Required Certification/Registration:
Current CA RN license
Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certificate and ACLS certificate
Completion of accredited RN program
Minimum 1 year RN experience

Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:

Minimum 1 year RN experience
Experience in a Pre OP/PACU setting
Prefer 2 years or more experience in PACU
