Recruitment Ad – ASC Administrator Multi-Specialty Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Administrator – Mills River, NC
The Surgery Center at Mills River (near Hendersonville, NC) is a joint-ventured Ambulatory Surgery Center (“ASC”) owned by Pardee Hospital and a group of local physicians.
The Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration, operation, and maintenance of the Surgery Center. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: personnel supervision, budgeting, cost analysis, inventory management, regulatory compliance, development and implementation of goals & objectives and Quality Improvement benchmark reporting. Must be highly motivated, detail oriented, and have excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have extensive ASC management and leadership experience. The ASC is under a long-term management agreement with Healthcare Venture Professionals ("HVP"), a professional ASC Development & Management Company. The Administrator will be an employee of HVP reporting to an HVP Executive. Responsibilities:
Drive industry leading patient satisfaction, physician satisfaction, employee engagement, operational and financial results
Maintain excellent communication with HVP, the ASC Governing Body, Physician Owners, Medical Director and your team.
Lead business development for your center through continually developing your network, market knowledge, and relationship building
Lead feasibility research for adding service lines and optimizing case mix.
Leverage your internal corporate support resources in areas such as recruitment, partnership management, business development, risk management, patient safety, human resources, accounting, financial reporting, etc.
Collaborate with Business Office for budget controls, monitor accounts receivables and payables, prepare, and project annual budgets.
Ensure compliance to all local, state, federal, and accrediting-body rules and other regulatory bodies including ACHC, OSHA, CMS, and other department specific accrediting and certifying bodies.
Effectively manage controllable costs such as labor and expenses.
Experience Required: Minimum 3-5 years ambulatory surgery center or related acute care experience, healthcare management, evidence of leadership qualities.
Additional Skills Required: Computer literacy, able to do word processing and Excel spreadsheets; sufficiently proficient in medical equipment to guide the selection and bid process.
Able to perform the necessary functions on the center's computer systems. Cooperative work attitude toward employees, management, patients, visitors and physicians. Ability to make decisions and solve problems. Language skills adequate for high-level written, interpersonal and telephone communication.
