RN Nurse Manager

Position: Manager, Nursing
Pay Range: $80,000 to $90,000
Location: Amsterdam, New York
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate (RN) Nurse Manager to join our team on a full-time basis, working collaboratively within the patient care team to support all patient care needs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides direction and support to the care team by reviewing daily staffing assignments and revising patient schedules as appropriate to meet patient, provider, and organizational goals.
  • Utilizes computer systems and software to assess and manage population health needs within the community.
· Coordinates continuity of care, including referrals to specialty care providers and case management.
· Conducts regular patient assessments to ensure that comprehensive care is being coordinated.
  • Promotes clear communication within the care team, delegates tasks, oversees scheduling needs, facilitates patient care, and counsels team members regarding care delivery expectations.
· Evaluates care, utilization of resources, and development of new clinical tools, forms, and procedures.
  • Participates in quality improvement and educational programs and assists in the development of nursing practice standards at HHC.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Graduation from an accredited Registered Nursing Program with current, unrestricted NYS Licensure.
· Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
· Prior managerial or supervisory experience highly preferred.
· Must be able to move/lift up to 25 lbs.
· Must be able to climb stairs and carry needed items for Telehealth Home Visits
· Must be able to wear PPE (gown, gloves, mask, face shield, shoe covers) for extended periods of time if needed due to isolation/protective patient needs.
· While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and sit for prolonged hours. May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases/materials.
· Day to day work includes desk work on a computer work interaction with patients/ staff and providers.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year

Education:
