Position requires lifting, rotating body, flexing, extending, stooping, pushing/pulling, repetitive motions. Possible exposure to communicable diseases, body fluids, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations, combative patients and other conditions common to a hospital environment. May be exposed to infectious specimens, diseases, soiled laundry, heavy lifting and handling, but potential for personal harm or injury to self or others is limited when proper safety and health precautions are followed. Must successfully complete a post offer physical assessment. Able to maintain emotional stability under stressful and complicated situations; Must be able to perform CPR.
