Full-time Revit Specialist to coordinate Revit logistics and provide mentorship and training to employees. An employee in this role would be dedicated to the improvement, development, standardization, support, and education of Revit systems in order to enhance efficiency, productivity, and innovation. This position reports to the Technical Principal.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
Develop, implement and maintain Revit standards and tools for firm use, including standard workflows and processes
Assist the Technical Director with Revit related logistics for project teams, including the quality control process
Create and maintain families, libraries and the overall model within the Revit software.
Develop model content to support project teams
Mentor and train staff on the latest technology systems and features, including meeting with company new hires consistently through his/her first 90 days
Assist and/or oversee the coordination of BIM project execution plans
Support design staff in the trouble shooting Revit issues and improving modeling efficiency. Support and manage Autodesk Construction Cloud resources and coordinate interface with Autodesk Retailer. Coordinate implementation and deployment of software with IT and Systems Manager.
Contribute to the development and implementation of all design technology systems, including regular maintenance and upgrades
SKILLS
Demonstrated proficiency in using Revit and Auto CAD.
Proficiency in Autodesk Construction Cloud is desirable.
Proficiency in other 3D modeling, visualization and rendering software such as Lumion, Enscape & Sketchup and other design applications will be considered.
Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
Ability to organize information received, be thorough in addressing tasks, and be organized in the presentation of information
Ability to visualize verbal directions in 3D
Experience with training design and/or delivery
QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or equivalent
Technical training in applicable discipline design
Associate or Professional Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction or related field preferred
4+ years of experience
