Job Description: Retail Sales Clerk
Location: Oak Island, NC
Pay: $12–$13/hour (based on experience)
We’re seeking a reliable, customer-focused Retail Sales Clerk to join our team! If you enjoy working in a fun, laid-back beachside retail environment, this is the job for you.

Job Responsibilities

Assist customers with purchases, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
Maintain a clean, organized store and restocked merchandise as needed.
Sell a variety of items, including beachwear, sarcastic humor, and politically-themed merchandise.
Provide excellent customer service with a positive and professional attitude.

Requirements

Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings (until around 10 PM on some days), weekends, and holidays.
Ability to work 40+ hours per week.
Previous experience with cash register operations is preferred (experience at Walmart, Circle K, or similar is a plus).
Friendly and approachable demeanor with the ability to engage with a wide range of customers.
Comfortable selling all store merchandise, including themed items.
Must be able to work on Holidays
No drug tests or background checks are required.
