We are now looking to fill a full-time RELATIONSHIP DEVELOPMENT MANAGER position for the San Antonio & Texas Hill Country area with the right human to become part of the Food Related team. And here’s the nitty-gritty: The Relationship Development Manager is responsible for developing sales with existing accounts and generating new business leads in the San Antonio and Texas Hill Country region, working hand in hand with purchasing and service to support our wholesale food distributor business division. This involves (but is not limited to) the following job duties:
Develop effective sales presentations.
Visit & grow sales in existing customers.
Target potential new customers, open new accounts.
Take customer orders, assist with questions, requests, issues etc.
Assist customers with the drafting of food and wine menus.
Develop and conduct food and wine training for customers.
Handle all paperwork and reporting requirements in a timely and accurate manner.
Handle all customer issues in a timely and efficient manner within company guidelines.
Advises management of service problems encountered.
Job Requirements: Technical Requirements:
Must be at least 21 years of age
Associates degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school preferred
High level food industry product knowledge with proven work experience
2+ years of previous restaurant, hospitality industry, and/or sales experience
Ability and willingness to travel between 50-75% of the time, including some weekends
Demonstrated knowledge of Word, Power Point, Excel
Ability to create and deliver effective sales and marketing presentations
Relationship management skills and openness to feedback
Ability and willingness to maintain flexible work schedules, as some weekend and extended workdays are necessary to conduct sales activities
Must be comfortable to lift, lower and position heavy items, up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus, but not required
