Position: Refurbishment & Inventory Specialist
Position Summary:
The Refurbishment & Inventory Specialist is a key player in our Sell My Games.com division, responsible for managing the full process of incoming video game orders. Sell My Games.com is a platform where users can sell their video games directly to us. This role handles order reception, item testing, seller payments, and records each transaction in our inventory system. You will also serve as the main point of communication for our Sell My Games.com customers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience.
In addition to these core responsibilities, this position supports our refurbishment manager by assisting with cleaning, testing, repairing, sorting by condition, and repackaging video games, consoles, and accessories.

Key Responsibilities:
- Quality Control: Inspect video games, consoles, and accessories for condition and authenticity.
- Testing: Ensure all items are fully functional.
- Customer Communication: Maintain clear and professional communication with sellers.
- Inventory Management: Log items accurately into the inventory system.
- Cleaning & Sorting: Clean items and categorize them by condition.
- Repairs: Conduct basic repairs on games and consoles as needed.
- Documentation: Complete time logs and maintain accurate records.
- Additional Duties: Additional duties as assigned.
- Video Game Knowledge: In-depth understanding of video games across retro and modern eras.
- Customer Service Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-Solving Abilities: Skilled at troubleshooting and resolving issues with video game items.
- Self-Motivated: Capable of working independently for extended periods.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and thoroughness in tasks.
- Adaptability: Able to adjust to new processes and workflows.
- Comfort with Repetitive Tasks: Comfortable handling routine, repetitive duties efficiently.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Technical Skills: Basic computer and typing skills.
- Team Communication: Excellent team player, able to communicate effectively with colleagues.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Clearance: Able to pass a background check and drug screen.
Pay: $20.00 per hour
