Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Reconditioning Specialist to join our team. The Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including heavy lifting, general automotive work, automobile detailing, power tool operation, auto body repair, auto restoration, vehicle maintenance, and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Perform heavy lifting and moving of equipment and materials as needed
- Restore vehicle to Pre-collision condition
- Utilize power tools for various tasks-orbital buffing, feather and block, fine paint skills consistent with vehicles coming out of repair cycles
-Perform a Pre-delivery checklist of collision repair vehicles -Ensure company vehicles/ commercial trucks are in clean condition following heavy use -Maintain a neat and professional work environment -Maintain inventory of detailing products and coordinate with management for resupply
- Perform re-assembly of collision repair vehicles as needed
- Utilize standard reconditioning equipment to detail vehicles
- Assist with auto restoration projects
- Conduct routine vehicle maintenance and inspections
- Provide exceptional customer service to clients
Experience:
- Previous experience with heavy lifting and manual labor
-Familiar with automotive Paint correction and orbital buffing
- Proficient in Auto detailing and knowledgeable about vehicle maintenance
- Skilled in operating power tools for various tasks
-Familiar with collision repair preparation and delivery procedures
- Knowledge of auto restoration processes is a plus
- Strong customer service skills
