Quality Improvement Coordinator - PKIMC Nursing Admin

Description
The Quality Coordinator will assist with department meeting support (scheduling, prep work, minutes), data collection, creating aggregate data reports, regulatory and accreditation survey preparation, and other activities related to hospital performance improvement. Additional responsibilities could include development and implementation of caregiver education related to current performance improvement projects.

Hours: Full-time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 Hours Per Week

Required Qualifications:
  • H.S. Diploma or GED
  • 1 year experience with Microsoft® office products (e.g. Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Associate's Degree in Computer Science or Healthcare related field
  • Coursework/Training in Medical terminology
  • Experience with principals and tools for performance improvement such as PDCA cycles, reward and recognition schemes, process mapping, and flowcharts
  • Experience in healthcare related position working with medical and nursing staff
