Nature of Work
Conduct evaluations and inspections to ensure subcontractors performance and vendor products are to code and specifications. Review all submittals and drawings, conduct meetings as required and keep record of all quality control activities including inspection and tests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Develop understanding/working knowledge of company quality control program, company standards, procedures, codes, etc. required to perform assigned work.
Conduct subcontractors, project and material inspections to ensure proper workmanship, as well as code/specification compliance.
Assist in maintaining work performance records, inspection records and other related items; ensure correctness of all documents.
Review subcontractors submittals, schedules meetings as required with subcontractors, owners, etc.
Assist in coordinating quality control inspection schedules with other department schedules.
Exercise initiative or, as directed, perform additional duties to meet the needs of the organization.

Education

A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college/university or equivalent experience.

Experience

Two to five years or more of related work experience required.

Physical Demands

Physical demands for this position are moderate. There may be walking, standing, bending or lifting of moderately heavy (25-50 pounds) items. The work may require specific but common physical characteristics and abilities such as above-average agility and dexterity.
