Nettleton Schools Overview:
Families, Inc. Counseling Services is seeking a compassionate and skilled Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP) to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in the mental health treatment of clients, working directly with individuals and their support networks to promote well-being and empowerment. As a QBHP, you will provide clinically appropriate interventions, support clients in achieving their treatment goals, and collaborate with other professionals and agencies to enhance care delivery. Travel is required.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Care & Treatment Support:
Serve as a key member of the client’s treatment team, working collaboratively with other professionals to implement the treatment plan.
Provide clinical interventions based on the guidance of the Mental Health Professional (MHP), modeling therapeutic techniques, and reinforcing treatment goals.
Build a strong support network around the client, including family members, teachers, and other community resources.
Offer clinical support both on and off-site as required by the treatment plan, ensuring client participation in medication evaluations and follow-up appointments.
Documentation & Compliance:
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided, including written reports required by external agencies (e.g., DCFS, legal system).
Review caseload compliance reports regularly to ensure clients are up-to-date on treatment and compliance issues.
Provide supervision and observation reports in accordance with company policies, ensuring timely submission for MHP review.
Collaboration & Communication:
Serve as a liaison with external agencies to facilitate referrals and coordinate services.
Work closely with clients and their support systems to foster positive relationships and promote treatment adherence.
Attend required clinic meetings and testify in court as needed.
Other Responsibilities:
Provide professionally appropriate transportation for clients as needed.
Assist with securing primary care provider referrals and ensuring timely follow-up.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Psychology, Sociology, or a related field preferred.
High school diploma or GED required.
Experience:
Prior experience in a behavioral health or human services field is preferred.
Experience with client care, treatment planning, and working in a collaborative environment is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies:
Must meet the qualifications of a Qualified Behavioral Health Provider (QBHP) as defined by Arkansas Medicaid Standards.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a caseload effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including proficiency in spelling, grammar, and documentation.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive client information with professionalism.
Proficiency with electronic devices and multiple platforms, ensuring accurate documentation and communication.
Ability to travel as required.
