Basic Function: We’re looking for an experience Maintenance Technician to join our Ironclad Property Services team as a go-to expert for maintaining and improving the condition of properties we manage all over the Pittsburgh area. Key Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and Make Routine Repairs to the Interior and Exterior of Homes
Perform repairs and maintenance on roofing, siding, and gutters
Clear vegetation and trim trees back from properties to maintain aesthetics and safety
Paint and patch walls
Install, replace, and repair windows
Perform minor carpentry work
Install and repair electrical fixtures and outlets
Address leaks, clogs, and drainage issues
Troubleshoot and repair HVAC equipment
Complete Work Orders Fully
Review and understand work orders in our online system, reference property notes and details as needed to aid in efficient completion of work order
Respond to requests and provide friendly and reliable customer service to our residents
Resolve and complete work orders on time
Ensure all jobs are completed in an exemplary manner and any potential hazards or warning signs of problems are not overlooked
Participate in the Weekly On-Call Rotation Supervises: N/A Working Conditions: Primarily in residential homes . Periodic weekend and evening work. Desired Qualifications:
Proven experience as a maintenance technician or handy man with experience working on roofs, siding, gutters and other exterior maintenance matters
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to use a mobile device for email and other applications
Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
A positive attitude and a customer service mindset
