Competencies and Position Requirements
Proofreads letters, financial statements, reports, client proposals, technical articles, website/social media postings, advertisements, and other documents for formatting, terminology consistency, spelling, and punctuation according to format standards
Checks all documents for consistency in formatting, font, type size, etc.
Verify all outbound or cross document hyperlinks are working correctly
Checks for mathematical accuracy (i.e. – footing, cross footing, tick and tie)
Familiar with the rules of the Associated Press (AP) style guide
Formats documents to ensure that client service professionals are able to input information in templates
Photocopies, binds, and prepares packages for outgoing shipment
Assists reports administrators in processing/typing Engagement Letters, SAS 114 Pre- and Post-Audit Reports, Representation Letters, Management Letters, IT/ISRA Reports, Presentations, Financial Statements
Ability to prioritize workload and pivot when necessary to meet internal expectations
Assists other departments, as needed, and provide excellent general clerical support
Education and Experience
High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
Background in English, publishing, teaching, or another related field
Experience with all MS Office applications including Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams as well as Adobe
Strong knowledge of math and the English language, including grammar and punctuation
Exceptional administrative and organizational skills, and acute attention to detail
