Shift Supervisor: Production Night shift: 7am – 7pm Shift pattern: 2 – 2 – 3 Medical Device Manufacturing Start date: ASAP Pay rate: $30 - $35p/h I’m working with a Medical Device Manufacturing company who are on the lookout for an production shift supervisor to join their team in Charlotte North Carolina. This is a medium sized pharmaceutical company, but they are investing heavily in their staff and their infrastructure to be able to grow into a well-known household brand. This company already has a global presence and works with a wide array of clients themselves. Job responsibilities: · Oversee the shift operation of Assembling to make sure quality, volume, and cost goals are met. · Plan and assign tasks to production staff, guide them, and enforce company policies. · Help troubleshoot production equipment to keep everything on track. · Review batch records regularly. · Communicate daily with the team to address any machine issues and share metrics. · Generate LTA reports and conduct root cause analysis. · Issue QIRs for non-conformities as they happen, investigate, and ensure corrective actions are in place before resuming production. · Assess machine operators' performance and set goals to maintain smooth operations. · Ensure quality standards are enforced and that all operators are upholding them. · Follow all Standard Operating Procedures. · Assist with startups or changeovers throughout the day. · Work closely with maintenance and setup teams to ensure quality and efficiency standards are met. · Monitor shift personnel’s working hours and attendance and keep the Sentric Time Module accurate daily. · Train and qualify shift personnel to ensure they fully understand procedures and documentation. · Take on other duties as needed. Role requirements: · Handle setup, changeovers, conversions, and release of Production Orders. · Sign off on production documents. · Kick off the QIR procedure when needed. · Review and sign time records. · Train and qualify shift personnel. · Supervise and guide the shift team. · High school diploma or technical school preferred. · Five years of experience in manufacturing supervision. · Solid computer skills, including Microsoft Office. · Great communication and writing abilities. · Ability to foster a team-oriented environment. · Must pass pre-employment requirements.
