Production Planner

Illuminate USA, a new standalone joint venture established by two global leaders in renewable energy, is building one of the largest solar panel manufacturing factories in the Western Hemisphere. This 1.1 million-square-foot factory is currently in advanced stages of preparation in the Columbus, Ohio area. Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Production Planning Specialist to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art factory in Columbus, Ohio. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for gathering performance data, measuring departmental output, and evaluating plant capacity to ensure production schedules are met efficiently. You will also produce comprehensive reports to identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to optimize overall production performance. Your ability to coordinate with various departments and oversee the execution of production plans will be crucial to our operational success.
Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive evaluations of production capacity based on standard production rates, maintenance schedules, and experimental plans.
Assist in the preparation of monthly and weekly production plans, ensuring alignment with overall production goals.
Liaise with the planning and operation departments to review and confirm order information. Issue order details and coordinate internal order reviews within the factory.
Monitor order progress, track deviations, and ensure timely confirmation and resolution of any discrepancies.
Supervise the order execution process, identify and address any abnormalities, and coordinate with various departments to resolve issues promptly.
Provide continuous feedback and updates on production plan implementation, ensuring smooth and efficient operations.
Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor to support overall production goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2 to 4 years of relevant experience in production planning or a related field.
Exceptional learning and communication skills.
Strong proficiency in data analysis and statistical methods.
