Job Title: Process Auditor
Location: Aquatic Bath, Lancaster, TX
Position Summary:
Under the guidance of the Quality Assurance Team, the Process Auditor plays a critical role in monitoring and ensuring adherence to manufacturing and quality standards on the production floor. This role supports the continuous improvement of production processes by auditing workstations, verifying standard work practices, and assisting in root cause analysis to uphold quality standards.
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct Process Audits: Regularly audits workstations to confirm adherence to Standard Work procedures and provides immediate feedback to employees and supervisors on deviations.
Support Quality Assurance: Works with the Co PQ quality system to verify that products meet established quality standards, and ensures accurate recordkeeping of audits and findings.
Assist in Root Cause Analysis: Collaborates with production and quality teams to investigate non-conformities and aid in root cause analysis, contributing to solutions that improve product quality.
Monitor Material Flow: Observes the flow of raw materials and components through work cells and communicates shortages or process issues to supervisors.
Promote Safety and Continuous Improvement: Supports the plant’s safety initiatives by ensuring compliance with workplace safety protocols and participates in continuous improvement activities to enhance processes and quality.
Documentation and Reporting: Documents audit results and provides regular reports on compliance trends to support corrective actions.
Professional Skills/Qualifications:
Education:
High school diploma required; additional technical training or certification in quality assurance or process auditing preferred.
Experience:
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing or quality assurance environment.
Skills and Competencies:
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow standardized procedures.
Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality assurance principles.
Competency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively provide constructive feedback.
Familiarity with continuous improvement principles, such as Lean Manufacturing, is a plus.
Work Environment:
This position involves regular time on the production floor, where safety equipment is required. The Process Auditor must be comfortable in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and prepared to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
