Empire Distributors of NC is hiring for a Pricing and Chain Coordinator for the Charlotte, NC location.
Summary
Inputs price changes in company and chain stores software programs. Assists with the communication of price changes and promotional information to chain headquarters. Works closely with the Chain Mangers to assure pricing is accurate. Assists in projects on a department wide basis.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Submits all pricing to assigned chain stores.
Sends all new promotion pricing to their chain’s contacts or loads directly on company portals.
Puts in place new deals for new items
Revising existing deals and understands the chain’s time requirements for approval
Adds additional pricing received after monthly pricing submitted to chains to keep price files accurately updated in accordance too chains need.
Research and assurance new item have been set up properly by verifying details (case size, bottle size) on DSD or company portal.
Follow up with all parties on any discrepancies
Assist with investigating discrepancies at store level or corporate level and correcting as needed
Submits new item forms/pricing as needed by Chain Manager
Assists on future programs to sell at buyer level

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience
College or technical school certification; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or
equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills
Ability to communicate clearly both written and orally.
Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts and percentages.
Reasoning Ability
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral form.
Computer Skills
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Internet and Web portal software; Microsoft Office software including Excel and Word required. 10-key experienced, SAP, Diver, Pocket Advantage preferred.
