The Plant Manager is responsible for overseeing all daily operations of the plant from production, safety and quality and ensuring policies and processes are followed. This position leads, trains and develops coworkers who report up through this position. This position is also responsible for overseeing the development, improvement and execution of continuous improvement projects that will continue to strategically support organizational growth and development.
Essential Job Functions
Responsible for coaching, teaching, and supervision of assigned personnel.
Responsible for effective employee relations. Initiates and is proactive with employee coaching and development. Resolves employee issues through identifying problems and resolutions.
Provide on-site leadership for plant team through building and motivating team members to meet goals while adhering to their responsibilities.
Responsible for the performance management (hiring, development, discipline, termination) of direct reports while collaborating with Human Resources.
Foster a culture that the understands and displays the company’s core values.
Responsible for building and maintaining business relationships, which includes working with all levels and locations of the company to maintain and provide status of key projects.
Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-today operations to exceed our customers’ expectations.
Increase production, capacity and flexibility while minimizing necessary costs and maintaining quality standards.
Identify and coordinate resources effectively to fully utilize labor and capacity to produce optimal results.
Collect and analyze data to identify forms or waste and implement solutions to eliminate.
Develop systems and processes that track and optimize metrics and performance targets.
Create and improve visual processes and tools to track progress and challenges.
Implement strategies in alignment with strategic initiatives and provide a clear sense of direction and focus to the entire team.
Support and participate in safety incident investigations as needed or required.
Identifies the sequence of operations required to build a project and works with and provides input to Engineering to ensure the routers and bills of material are correct.
Utilize production schedules, develops new schedules and/or changes as needed and collaborate with production control to implement changes.
Provide input and feedback of proposed projects prior to final schedule release.
Operations Profit & Loss (P & L) responsibility assisting with formulating and implementing budgets and fostering a cost conscience attitude.
Complete request, return on investment and thorough explanation for capital expenditure projects.
Attend and contribute to weekly open book management and production meetings.
Perform other related duties, as needed and assigned, including backup for supervisors.
Regular, in-person attendance due to necessary teamwork and personal interactive nature of this position.
Ability to travel (up to 10%) both domestic and international.
Must have a valid Driver’s License for travel purposes.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering or Business Management required.
Master’s Degree in related field preferred.
Five (5) to ten (10) years’ experience in related field required.
Base Compensation Range $117,251 - $200,252 annually Variable Compensation Range: Incentive bonus eligibility up to 10% of gross annual salary based on company performance (as of 2024). Health and Ancillary Benefit Overview: Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance with low employee premiums

Working Conditions Professional office environment with some manufacturing shop environment. Use of standard office equipment (computers, phones, copiers, and filing cabinets, etc.).
