Mountain View Hospital is looking for a Pharmacy Marketing Specialist to join our team! JOB SUMMARY: Coordinate and support various marketing needs for the Pharmacy department at Prescription Center, Prescription Center Home Care, Mountain View Hospital, its affiliates and Idaho Falls Community Hospital. This will include, but is not limited to strategic planning and development, event support, graphic design, Google business listings, website management, social media, developing and updating marketing material, responding to marketing requests from affiliates and more. Ability to take a concept developed by the pharmacy team to a finished product
Create reports that assist team to efficiently execute its plans.
Manage print and design process for marketing materials.
Meet with outside prescribers and inform about available pharmacy products and services.
Work to develop and keep website content current and up to date.
Plan events for companies and staff booths at events.
Answers phone and responds to messages as assigned
Responsible for knowing hospital policies and being familiar with available hospital services
Demonstrates an ability to be flexible, organized and function well in stressful situations
Treats patients and their families with respect and dignity; ensures confidentiality of patients records.
Maintains a good working relationship both within the department and with other departments.
Participates in the educational program, completes annual educational requirements, and attends in-service meetings as required
Attends all other meetings as required
Maintains patient confidentiality at all times
Accepts and completes other duties as assigned or requested.

Associates or Bachelors degree preferred. Experience: 2-3 years in marketing environment or the completion of a bachelors degree. Equipment/Technology: Ability to operate basic computer functions and software. Preferred knowledge in Adobe Illustrator. Language/Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills are a must for this position. Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports, and correspondence, blogs, company newsletters and social media content. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Mental Capabilities: Ability to apply common sense to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Interpersonal: Ability to communicate and work well with others.
