Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Parts Manager to oversee the procurement, inventory management, and distribution of parts within our organization. Duties
- Manage the procurement process for parts, ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing from suppliers.
- Oversee inventory management, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and implementing effective storage solutions.
- Utilize CCCone and Parts Trader for part orders and returns, compliant with insurance requirements.
- Work closely with the auto body repair team to understand parts requirements for various projects.
- Work with General Manager to ensure compliance with safety standards and efficient workflow processes.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices in warehouse management and parts handling.
- Develop relationships with suppliers to negotiate favorable terms and ensure quality standards are met.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in parts management or a related field, preferably within an automotive environment.
- Comfortable communicating with vendors and able to problem solve to find necessary parts.
- Strong data entry skills with attention to detail for accurate inventory and return tracking.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
