Part-Time Data Analyst / Business Analyst (One-Time KPI Template Creation)

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in data analysis and business intelligence, with the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights. This role is essential for driving data-driven decision-making within the organization and will involve collaboration with various departments to enhance operational efficiency.
Duties

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights that support strategic initiatives.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI to visualize key performance indicators.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and understand business needs.
Utilize SQL for querying databases and extracting relevant data for analysis.
Participate in the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) by providing input on project requirements and deliverables.
Assist in business analysis activities, including requirements gathering, documentation, and validation.
Support project management efforts by tracking progress, managing timelines, and ensuring deliverables are met.
Implement best practices for data governance and quality assurance to maintain data integrity.
Engage in Agile methodologies to adapt quickly to changing project requirements.

Requirements

Proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and querying.
Experience with analytics tools such as Power BI or similar visualization software.
Familiarity with Talend or other ETL tools is a plus.
Strong understanding of linked data concepts and their applications in analytics.
Knowledge of business analysis principles and practices.
Experience in project management methodologies, particularly Agile.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to communicate complex information clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
