PA/NP - Family Medicine

Ascension Medical Group Belsay Road practice is looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their well-established practice in Burton, Michigan.
This is a busy, outpatient primary care practice that sees patients of all ages from pediatrics through and including geriatrics.
There are two experienced Primary Care physicians and one Physician Assistant.
This is a growing practice that is looking to add a full-time Family Medicine physician and a full-time Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to increase patient access to high-quality health care.
The practice is open and offers: Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m.- 12 noon Fridays from 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. Scheduled visits, virtual visits and some walk-in appointments when schedules permit.
There is one Practice Manager along with dedicated Medical Assistants and Receptionists. Most of the support staff have been with the practice for a number of years.
On-site ancillaries include EKG, lab services, PT, OT, and Diagnostic Imaging (CT scan, x-ray and mammography) making it convenient for patients to receive additional care and testing. The EMR is Allscripts and Touch Works.
There are no call responsibilities associated with this position.
This is a patient centric practice interested in speaking with candidates who work well together in a team environment and prioritize giving excellent care for their patients.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program
Certified as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Willingness to be flexible and work well as an integral member of the health care team
1-2 years of recent and relevant experience as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner preferred
The practice is willing to consider and help mentor a new Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
