Advance Services is now hiring workers for the Painting Dept in Sumner, IA
1st shift
Pay: $18/hr

Working the paint department your job duties may include:

Getting doors on rack, module, and cab from paint; attaching hinges to module doors; applying Eck to jam on door and module where hinge will contact it; attaching doors to module; attaching cab doors, fenders, and hood after sanding and buffing; etc…

Removing all doors from module; removing all hinges from doors; placing all hinges and doors on door cart and taking to door booth; etc…

Double-checking truck for quality finish; wiping entire colored trucks with spray and shine; spot checking white trucks with spray and shine; using Mil gauge to check paint thickness and document accordingly; etc…

Cleaning – clean door hinges with cleaner and towel to remove excess Eck; use blow gun and or water with towel to clean out compartment; cut masking tape out of vent holes; etc…

Sanding and Grinding – rough grind around all compartment openings; add durglass bondo around all compartment openings, cap corners, and anywhere else needed; mild grind rest of module including all sides and roof; once durglass bondo is dry, sand it smooth using mud hog sander; DA sand over all sides; grind roof welds clean with wire wheel; apply chromalite bondo around all compartment openings, cap corners, and anywhere else needed; once chromalite bondo is dry, sand it smooth using mud hog; DA sand corner post, round and drip, and caps; etc…

Required:

• Lifting up to 50-100lbs+
• Bending, Squatting, Twisting, Kneeling, Stooping
