Pack-Out Working Team Lead
Job Summary: We are looking for an experienced Pack-Out/Seal Team Lead who is fluent in both Spanish and English to manage and motivate a team of 20+ individuals in the pack-out and sealing department. The successful candidate will have hands-on experience in gummy packaging and sealing processes and demonstrate strong leadership skills to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and quality in all pack-out operations.
Essential Job Functions
1. Team Leadership:
· Provide training, coaching, and support to team members to maintain high standards of performance.
· Conduct daily team meetings to review goals, safety protocols, and address any immediate concerns.
2. Production Oversight:
· Oversee the gummy packaging, sealing, and labeling processes to ensure all products meet quality standards.
· Monitor the pack-out line to identify any bottlenecks and work with the team to implement solutions.
· Ensure compliance with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and safety guidelines.
3. Quality Control:
· Perform regular quality checks and ensure that all packaged products meet company and regulatory standards.
· Identify and address any issues in the pack-out process, such as incorrect sealing, labeling errors, or damaged packaging.
4. Process Improvement:
· Work with production management to implement process improvements that enhance productivity, reduce waste, and maintain product quality.
· Monitor and report on production metrics, identifying areas for continuous improvement.
5. Administrative Tasks:
· Track and record production data, including daily outputs, waste, and quality control metrics.
· Manage team scheduling and ensure adequate staffing for all shifts.
· Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential job functions of this position.
1. This position is physically demanding and requires physical stamina. We need someone who has high energy and can get people excited to work with us.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills; able to motivate and direct a large team. Fluent in both English and Spanish is a MUST.
3. Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multi-taking skills.
4. Working knowledge of GMP standards
Minimum Education and Experience:
1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. 2+ years leading 20+ people
3. 2+ years of experience in pack-out or equivalent
4. Must have working knowledge of basic equipment (lot coder, sealer, etc.)
5. Basic computer skills for tasks like data entry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
